Damak which lies in the Jhapa District of Nepal is one of the biggest municipality of eastern Nepal. It's total area is 75.13 square kilometer ie 29 sq. miles which lies between the two rivers Mawa in the west and Ratwa in the east.There are 19 wards including the largest Tea Estate in the Jhapa. It was changed to the municipality from the VDC(Village Development Committee) in the year 1982 A.D. It is an average of 100 meter above the sea level covering the area of 7513 hectares.
